  • I’ve recently made a new site and I want to remove the author and date posted on the homepage as well as the permalink on the bottom

    I’ve tried display: none and making the text white but although it works when updated on the customise > custom css page as soon as I hit save it disappears. Any suggestions on some other code or how I can make this work would be fab

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • To hide Author and date from below section https://prnt.sc/ue5wnw

    Please add this css
    .wpfp-date{
    display:none;
    }

    To hide the Footer Permalink, Please add this css
    .postfooter .permalink {
    display:none;
    }

    You can add css in

    Appearance > Editor >> style.css

    Thanks Jaydeep… That worked for the date but admin and the permalink still seem to be there for some reason.. Any suggestions?

    Always helps to supply a screenshot to show exactly what we are talking about, but, I think this is what you are looking for:

    .postnav .postnavinfo {display: none;}
