I have a _private_ calendar that has the ID identical to one of my email addresses. I have a _public_ one that has an ID similar to `umx1x0hrrtr8753xx6ba2t0q08@group.calendar.google.com`. * At the google page for the calendar, go to `Calendar Settings > Share This Calendar` and make sure ‘make this calendar public’ is checked. I’ve had this installed for a couple of days and occasionally it gives me the “While trying to retrieve events, Google returned an error: * Please ensure that both your Google Calendar ID and API Key are valid and that the Google Calendar you want to display is public.” * It’ll be working for while and then at some point it will just stop. I’ve double checked my share status, API, & ID in google and all are correct. * This is not a legit workaround but something I found strange is if I change the view settings it’ll start working again. I’ve had it in “list” mode and if I switch it to Grid it starts working.
