# Simple Archive List

 * I want a simple list for my archives. The tag, wp_get_archives() just returns
   title and link.
    I want something like: `date [Post Title](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/simple-archive-list/"url?output_format=md)`
   for each one. As far as I can tell, there isn’t a pre-existing tag or plugin 
   I can use. I don’t want the nicer/sorted archives things. Can someone help me
   out? 🙂

 * The “Image Safari hack” is old code which no longer appears to work with wordpress
   1.2+
    The MtDewVirus is probably the closest you’ll be able to get. I think it’s
   better than nicer archives considering it only performs about 10 queries (for
   my installation) per page loads instead of nicer’s 130 queries.
