Similiar theme to chaplin with sidebar

    Hi All

    I currently run my site with the chaplin theme and it works great but I feel like my website needs a side bar so I can put links to other parts of my website more easily.

    Questions:
    1: Is there another theme similar to Chaplin theme with the option of a side bar ?
    2: if I change the theme will i need to do some maintenance on my site to bring it in line with that theme?
    3: If I go back to the chaplin theme will it just be the same as where I left off?

    1. Yes, sort of. The same designer behind Chaplin made the Twenty Twenty default theme: https://wordpress.org/themes/twentytwenty/

    It doesn’t have all the features of Chaplin, but the overall look is very similar.

    While the theme doesn’t have a sidebar, you can use https://wordpress.org/plugins/options-for-twenty-twenty/ to add a sidebar and many other features.

    2. The most you’ll need to do is re-organize your menus and widgets, which should only take a few minutes.

    3. You may have to do the above again, but overall the theme’s settings will be preserved as long as you don’t delete it.
