silverlightmediaelement.xap from the latest wordpress release flagged as virus

    For some reason my virus scanner (Immunet3) is flagging silverlightmediaelement.xap in the latest download of WordPress as a virus. ( \wordpress\wp-includes\js\mediaelement ) This has never happened before. Can someone verify this behavior?

    My AV scanner doesn’t see anything wrong with it, and that file in the download hasn’t changed since 4.2.2 was released.

    Just in case, try downloading WordPress again and delete then replace your copy of the file with a fresh copy from the download.

    Some uploaders tend to be unreliable when overwriting files, so don’t forget to delete the original files before replacing them.
