Referring Visitors hook works out of the box. But the Sign Up/referral link doesnt work like so.

I imagine:

Scenario: Hey bro, here’s my sign up link.
Bro: Ok, Im taken to the homepage brother. Where am i supposed to register? When I tried registering via ajax login/register after being taken to the homepage, No points were added.

Is there a step by step guide for newbies like me?

Thanks so much. I have seen this video before. It confuses me since im using buddypress built in referral link. And i was thinking members just share the ready made link then their friends just use the link provided to register
