Sideblog Plugin – formatting question

  • I am sure this has been addressed before, but I just couldn’t find it… 🙁

My question is about formatting the Sideblog output, namely changing how the asides are displayed.

The plugin offers some basic formatting options (%title%, %title_url%, %content%, %permalink%, %postdate%, %postdate_url%, %excerpt%, %excerpt_<length>%, and date), but there is seemingly no way to output the raw post’s URL which can be then used to link to the post with custom anchor text.

For example, katesgasis (the plugin‘s author) displays links to posts in his asides as: September 12, 2006. This is much nicer than the default 2006-09-02 11:11:34 outputed by %postdate_url%.

    Any suggestions?
