Please check out this video… it illustrates exactly what is happening.

    http://screencast.com/t/MvZ06XJgL

Basically, we installed Content Aware Sidebars plugin.
We created new sidebars to replace existing sidebars.
That worked fine until I created sidebars to replace Footer Widget sidebars (that show in the footer of the theme.

Upon Creating the new “ebi footer widget 2” (and it happened with the first one), the “replacement” sidebar setting got changed on all other sidebars (except the footer widget sidebars.

Very strange, but it is happening. This is a bug. Here are all of my WordPress details:

    Server Software Apache
    PHP Version 5.5.17
    WordPress Version 4.1
    Maximum exc. time 120

    Would love to resolve ASAP.

I’ve got additional information and thinking that might help resolve this bug.

Please watch Jing video here: http://screencast.com/t/xzfC9uUtu

Basically there are only SOME replacement sidebars that somehow get mixed up – and it seems to follow a pattern.

Hopefully this helps. Would love to resolve this issue.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. I will look at the screencasts asap and see if I can reproduce the issue.

Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to see if it is a compatibility issue?

    yes. it still occurs.

one thing that I cannot deactivate is the Serrano theme plugin that allows the creation of sidebars for the pages in the theme. Those are among the sidebars that we are replacing with the content aware sidebar — you can see in the video the long list of them.

Hope this helps. I deactivated EVERY other plugin, and ran the test and issue as outlined in video still occurs.

Thank you, I will look into it.
It might be a compatibility issue with the sidebar generator in your theme, but I cannot test that as it looks like a premium theme.
