Sidebar won't display product Categories

    Hi Team

    I feel bad for raising this as I’m sure I must’ve overlooked something really obvious but… I cannot get the standard sidebar widget to display a short list of categories, it simply displays one bullet point ‘no categories’ despite having ‘landscapes’ etc. assigned to my products. Is there another step I’m missing??

    Hey @megamatts,

    have you assigned posts to your categories? By default, categories that doesn’t have posts assigned to them won’t be displayed.

    Hey Matt,

    I think this is most likely because you’re adding the standard category widget, instead of the product category widget.

    Please double check you’re adding the correct widget 🙂

    Indeed you are correct Jameskoster, stupidly I’d used the post categories widget as opposed to the product categories widget… DOH!!
