 * Notice the sidebar has the widgets falling over the area they are supposed to
   be in.
 * Can somebody point me in the right direction on how to fix that?

 * In style.css,
    line 246, try something like #sidebar { width: 257px; float: right;
   padding: 0 169px 0 0; }
 * To make the #sidebar narrower and pushed further left (via right padding) so 
   it sits over your background image correctly.
 * Then at line 251:
    #sidebar_right { float: left; width: 256px; padding: 12px 
   0 0 0; }
 * To make this sidebar narrower.
 * Then you’ll perhaps need to make your first text widget flash embed narrower 
   like
    [embed width="256"]url to flash[/embed]
