Sidebar Widgets Disappear, Plugin Resets

This is to bring to your notice a peculiar problem that we are facing.

The widgets in the sidebar and footer on http://www.marineinsight.com disappears whenever we upgrade a plugin or a child template.

Even if we do not upgrade, the widgets disappear at certain point of time each day, bringing back the original sidebar.php file which was there at the time of installing the theme. Thus everyday we have to perform of the function of adding each and every widget again, and do the changes all over again.

We have tried uninstalling all plugins, and even hired a developer. But still the problem persists.

We would be really helpful to you, if you can look in to the matter or at least guide us in the right direction.
