Sidebar widget spacing (5 posts)

I've searched the forums, but haven't been able to find something that answers my question.

I'm trying to add space between widgets in my sidebar. My site is http://www.thesexysecretary.com and you can see there's a lot of space between some widgets and not others. I can shift the Adsense ads (done as a plain Text widget) down by adding a
before the code, but can't adjust the standard WP widgets the same way.

I guess I'm confused because the code in sidebar.php doesn't match what's on the site (out of order, personally installed widgets not listed), so I'm not sure how to edit that code. I've also tried adjusting the padding in the sidebar section of the stylesheet with no luck.

Clearly, I'm a newbie - I could really use some help and some very clear, simple directions.

    Thanks a ton!

The best advice I can give you:
Hopefully, this will help you to find what classes are used by the widgets.

Thanks, but I've been through the CSS and messed with the sidebar padding with no success. What's strange to me is that the padding between the widgets isn't standard - any idea why that might be?

Is there any other place where someone can go for technical help with WordPress?

    Thanks again!

Excuse me? The article told me to play "CSS Detective" and I did - I just didn't find anything that helped me change the spacing of the widgets in my sidebar. Is there another moderator that can help me with this? Maybe one with people skills?
