[resolved] Sidebar showing at the bottom (14 posts)

Hey, I'm in the middle of changing from the Mystique theme to the avenue theme since mystique won't let me change my header (a problem I've had before but can't seem to solve)

Anyway, on avenue the sidebar is showing fine, but for individual posts it shows at the bottom: http://ayshcreament.co.uk/

I've got 'correct invalid html' on and I've tried importing posts to a test site, but I don't have the issue there (http://test.ayshcreament.co.uk/)

    any ideas?

    Thank you

Also, if you have a solution to my problem with mystique that would be handy as if I can't use avenue I'll be a bit stuck for a theme

Note: Solved mystique issue temporarily by renaming header I want with the name of the one it won't change from.

Have you checked for mark-up errors?

    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fayshcreament.co.uk%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

If it's a theme issue, you should ask the developers of the theme - as these forums only support themes from this site here:

    Hey WPyogi,

Most of those errors seem to not be from my content in posts, so I'm not sure how to change it. I don't think it's a theme issue as it works perfectly on my other website.

    thanks

What if you switch to a default theme?

I don't have the issue with other themes, or this theme on another website (which is what confuses me)

Where is a page with the problem? I don't see anything obviously wrong here:

It only happens on individual posts, such as http://ayshcreament.co.uk/jay-cartere-mary-shelley/
made video smaller and still no luck

Try taking out all of your widgets - and put in just a plain text widget. Also, what's this in custom CSS?

    #sidebar{clear:none;display:inline;float:left;margin-right:0}

    reinstalling didn't help

I'm not really sure how to fix those?

Okay, so no html expert but found that the difference between homepage and post page was that a certain plugin displayed and was causing mark up errors.

Deactivated the plugin and it's all sorted

Thanks WPyogi and happy new year!

AyshCreamEnt - after you deactivated the plug in, did you do anything else? I'm having this same problem. Tried the plug in route, but that didn't help. Curious as to what your process was. Thanks
