Sidebar shortcode inconsistent

The format of the testimonial in the sidebar is inconsistent. On most pages it is just text with no extras. It doesn’t look like a testimonial. However, when I load a page with testimonials in the page, both the testimonials have quotes and are formatted correctly. How do I fix the inconsistency?
