# sidebar removal

 * hi all,
 * i just installed wordpress on my website and it is up and running fine.
    but 
   on my pages i want to remove/hide the sidebar options like:
 * META
 * Entries RSS
    Comments RSS WordPress.org
 * and
 * RECENT COMMENTS
 * is there any option to remove/hide these bars?
    any help will be highly appreciated.

 * that is default sidebar. if you add some sidebar manually that will disperser.
   go to theme widgets and add some sidebar

 * in most themes, there is no option to remove the sidebar – but you can change
   the widgets as [@pankaj](https://wordpress.org/support/users/pankaj/) Pandey 
   already suggested.
 * please post a link to your site or at least name your theme for more suggestions.

 * go to theme widgets and add recent post widget to sidebar. it will solve your
   issue.
