I am running WP 3.9 with the MH Magazine Lite theme.

1st issue – My “HOME 5” widget area is the sidebar for the HOME page and it contains 3 widgets: search, ad injection with an Adsense advert and a facebook like box (jetpack). PROBLEM: In Chrome and Safari, everything works as it is supposed to; the ads show and the facebook like section shows. In IE and Firefox, these sections are BLANK.

Secondly – My “SIDEBAR” widget area is the sidebar for the POSTS/PAGES page and it contains 3 widgets: ad injection with an Adsense advert, recent comments and a facebook like box (jetpack). PROBLEM: In Chrome and Safari, everything works as it is supposed to; the ads show and the facebook like section shows. In IE and Firefox, these sections are BLANK.

I have deactivated all plugins and NONE where causing the issue. Has anyone experienced this and if so, how can i fix it?

    Hi,

thanks for using MH Magazine lite.

I just checked your site and for me the sidebars are working fine in all browsers. Please clear your browser cache in the browsers where it is not working and check again.

There are no other users with this issue and you can also check several user sites in our showcase where you can see that there are no issues with the sidebar.

    Have a great weekend.

    Regards
    Michael

    Hi Michael,

I had cleared the cache and wiped out cookies and all that and was surprised that everything was working for you. My wife, who is now laughing hysterically, showed me that on her laptop it also works fine. Please excuse me as I am now going to beat my head against a wall 🙂

    Thanks for your rapid response!
