 * I installed the latest version last night. This morning I was editing the sidebar
   on the Edit Themes page (as when I installed it got rid of everything that had
   been there on the last version), and the editor randomly dropped half the page
   without my noticing. Now half of the sidebar including the admin and rss links
   are missing and I don’t know how to get them back. Is there anywhere that I can
   cut and paste the original code from? I tried downloading a new copy of the code
   to my hard drive from your download page, but when I try to open the downloaded
   file it tells me it is corrupted.

 * For future reference, you do not need to delete the wp-contents directory when
   upgrading. That’s why your changes were lost. I’d try deleting the download,
   and try again to get a fresh print of the default themes. Also, note, it’s always
   a good idea to back up your site BEFORE upgrading.
 * Also take a look at [Customize_Your_Sidebar](http://codex.wordpress.org/Customize_Your_Sidebar)
