    Hello there

    Long story short I was trying to do add another sidebar section within the C-Panel for the CMS, I ran into an error, the file got deleted so I resorted to borrowing the CSS for a sidebar from a sister site.

    However, the CSS is all over the place, here is the site http://www.britishhomeopathic.org/what-is-homeopathy/

    My question is I’m trying to fix the issue of the overflowing color, I’m in WP / Appearance / Editor but can’t seem to find #sidebar to solve this issue.

    Sorry if the question is vague or misleading.

  • Additional info my website template is based upon the
    Twenty Eleven: Stylesheet

    And I’m searching within styles.css

    Try adding this CSS:

    #sidebar {
       width: 270px;
       float: left;
       padding: 10px;
    }

    Just as an aside, you shouldn’t be modifying the theme files directly, but either use a child theme or a CSS plugin like Custom CSS Manager.

    CrouchingBruin you know what? YOU DA MAN!

    I’ve been scrawling all these scripts trying to sort this out, its been hours, I really appreciate your input, the Custom CSS Manager worked a charm, cheers mate, v.much appreciated!
