• I had changed very little of the sidebar.php file in plain-vanilla theme to remove some elements and add a random image block. Everything worked correctly for two days until I had a new user with author priveleges add a post. ( I think that is unrelated though )Now, the sidebar content is even with the bottom of the main content area. When I load the default theme, the same happens also. I even tried replacing the plain vanilla theme with a fresh copy and it still does it. I first noticed the layout error after I added an image to a sticky post and was messing with the alignment in the html part of the post.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • It sounds like your code for adding the image to the post messed up the display of the sidebar. I would check the post.
