    Good evening,

    I have been unable to align my sidebar to the right or left of page content for some time now- regardless of settings, it only displays below, at the bottom of the page. I have attempted several changes to address this issue: uninstalling all plugins, adjusting the sidebar width, searching for open divs etc., to no avail. Please let me know if there’s any way to address this issue, and thank you in advance.

    (For reference, we are currently using the Ashe theme.)

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @sorenjb ,

    Your main container has custom CSS styles that are making it width 100% (so take full available with of the page).

    You need to change that value in your CSS to lower (around 65%) and the sidebar will jump back to on the side.

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Thank you for the response, and sorry for the late reply. I’ve tried applying this change in the CSS editor but it doesn’t seem to have any effect. For reference, this is the area in the CSS that I’ve adjusted. Please let me know if this is the correct value, and thank you.

    Hello @sorenjb

    I trust you’re doing well!

    Please try the following CSS code, add it to Appearance > Customizer > Additional CSS:

    .home .main-container {
        width: 65% !important;
    }

    This should fix the sidebar location.

    Have a good day and take care!

    Cheers,
    Nastia

    Thank you so much for the response, adding that code to the CSS fixed the issue. Thanks again!

    I’ve tried using this on a page using twentyseventeen theme but it doesnt appear to work. Looking at the Custom Sidebar field for the page, it identifies that my test sidebar is linked?
    What am I missing?
