  • Hi, I am trying to have my sidebar show up on all of my individual posts. I understand I may have to remove some conditional tags, but not sure which ones. Here is my sidebar.php file. Can anyone please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

  • Well the first problem is that you need to put code inside the tilda characters.

The second problem is that without knowing what theme you are using, it’s hard to help you. But if you using the default theme, you have to add <?php get_sidebar(); ?> to wherever you want the sidebar to appear. You’ll have to make CSS edits so that things look correct also.

    Hi peiqinglong,
I am using the default theme. What are the “tilda characters”?

Second, for the sidebar to appear on every page, I would just add the code <?php get_sidebar(); ?> to the archive.php, comments.php, page.php, etc, correct?

    Thanks for the help

Yes. The tilda character is to the left of the number 1 on your keyboard.
