Sidebar on comments.php – default theme

I would like to add my sidebar to my default theme’s comments/archive page. Right now it is bare – and I can’t figure out if I need to add get_sidebar(); (open/close omitted for this post) to my template somewhere, or what I am supposed to do.

ALSO, how do I make the personalheader.jpg linkable back to my homepage? Any ideas?
