• I just saw Streampad’s mini mp3 player mentioned in a NY TImes article on widgets. It looks cool & I like the feature, but I can’t get it to display any of my mp3s no matter what I do (the Streampad player is half way down my sidebar).

Would anyone know if there’s a WP mp3 player plugin that displays a ‘jukebox’ w. song list in the sidebar?

And if you are using the Streampad mini-player widget, I haven’t been able to get this thing running properly. If you’d be willing to take a few questions fr. me privately I’d be grateful. Just lv. yr. blog link & I’ll get in touch or email me through my blog link above.

  • Get the executable php plugin widget by otto:
    http://ottodestruct.com/wpstuff/execphp.zip
    (install and activate)

    then go to streampad:
    http://www.streampad.com/tools

enter the URI of your site and copy the code. Paste that code in to the executable php widget

    jefelf,

I tried your instructions, but all I get is a message that Streampad is “Loading …”. Nothing actually loads.

    My WordPress site is MisterMixtape.org

If you (or anybody else) has any ideas re: how to get Streampad to work with WordPress, I’d be eternally grateful!

I’ve also tried pulling the RSS feed from my WordPress site and then using the URI of the output for my Streampad source. That doesn’t really work either. As you can see on my site, the only MP3 files that Streampad recognizes are those that were in place when my Streampad widget was first created.

I’ve just installed this and to be honest I’m a total noob at wordpress & blogging in general. I’d be most appreciative if someone can spell out to me where i should upload my mp3’s to. I already have the streampad appearing on my blog page, but no matter what I do I can’t locate any of the mp3’s uploaded to make it work.

    thx
