  • I know this is a common problem. I’ve searched and either can’t make sense of what I find or it doesn’t apply.

My blog is at http://www.TheSmallBusinessCoach.com/blog and it’s using a K2 theme that’s been slightly modified. It’s been working fine up until I published a post and noticed it was marked as “private” by mistake. I republished it as “published” and then noticed the problem. I did not change any images.

I’d appreciate the help and also a link to any consultants who do this kind of thing.

  • Then I would edit that last post and check for bad or extraneous code.
If that’s not it – look at this:

Thanks. The validator thing didn’t make a lot of sense. Seems like many of what it flagged weren’t real problems (eg it was asking for a closing tag for the <br> and I don’t think there is one).

But when I finally figured out how to see the code in that last post, I found a lot of <div> and </div> and even <div /> tags. No other post had them. So I took them all out and it works now. Thanks. case closed.

    side note:

(eg it was asking for a closing tag for the <br> and I don’t think there is one).

That means replace <br> with <br /> to match your doctype.
