    Hello,

I have a blog at http://gamenationbase.com . I always use Firefox to browse, so I did not notice this problem until just now.

Please note that this theme’s sidebar worked fine until now. I am not sure when this happened.

My problem is (as you can see) that the sidebar has moved completely to the bottom of the page (near the footer) and has vacated from the real location. Also, please note that this ONLY occurs in Internet Explorer.

Why is it doing this and how can I fix it? Thanks.

  • Let’s use our troubleshooting skills…

Open up your IE browser, and look at this:
    http://gamenationbase.com/?p=194

    that looks ‘normal’

    so do this:

    http://gamenationbase.com/?p=192

    now look at this:
    http://gamenationbase.com/?p=196

    that doesnt look ‘normal’

    what might tell you?

the ONLY thing between those 2 pages is the content of your post. Therefore, the content of, and/OR the styling of whats inside, your posts is causing the problem.

ie is picky about images, italics, bolded italics, and pasting from word docs.

Go through that post, delete things, resave it, check the page, etc.. until you have figured out what the problem is.

start with deleting the italicized text, that fixed it for me locally.

and remember this thread for when it happens it again. It’s good advice.
