# Sidebar Modification Issue

 * I am a bit new to WordPress to forgive me for my general lack of understanding.
 * I’m trying to make the Sidebar consist only of Categories, as my mockup below
   helps illustrate

 * I’ve been reading this post regarding the Page Of Posts

 * Is your sidebar widget-ready? Have you tried simply adding the Categories widget
   in Admin/Appearance/Widgets?

 * Esmi, Thanks. That would explain quite a bit!
 * However, now what I don’t quite understand is that in each new category that 
   I created, it has a list of the other categories I had created in the post, as
   opposed to just listing the posts in the respective categories.
