Support » Plugin: Custom Sidebars - Dynamic Widget Area Manager » Sidebar Location Setup Hangs with Woocommerce

  • Resolved Anonymous User 14746719

    I setup your plugin on the site with Woocommerce, however in Plugins after I create a new Sidebar, if I then click on Sidebar Location the popup window (ajax?) just shows a spinning symbol and doesn’t load.

    I’ve just spent some time disabling all other plugins etc; and pinpointed it down to when Woocommerce is enabled. As soon as it’s disabled it works

    Is this something that you’ve seen before?

    Hey @miketurnermk,

    Hope you’re well.

    I didn’t remember any issue like this. First, can you check the browser console, is there any error message? I tried WooCommerce, Custom Sidebars with default theme but couldn’t replicate the issue. So can you try with Twenty Seventeen theme and only WooCommerce activated?

    Same problem here… and I don’t have Woocommerce installed.

    My console says:

    TypeError: is not a function. (In ‘ ‘action=save-widget’ )’, ‘’ is undefined)

    Hey @mhason,

    Even if it’s the same issue according to WordPress forum guide you should open new thread;

    Unless users have the exact same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme, and configurations, then the odds are the solution for one user will not be the same for another. For this reason, we recommend people start their own topics.

    Please, open a new thread and perform plugin conflict, theme conflict tests.

    I will open a new thread, though I wish that you could spend the effort pointing me to the rules, to point me to a solution.
