# Sidebar issues

 * I am having trouble understanding how sidebars are determined within our theme
   and how to create new sidebars. Is the sidebar a product of its parent page? 
   Also, when I duplicate a page, the sidebar automatically contains every page 
   on our site, rather than the pages contained in the sidebar that I copied.
 * I hope this makes sense, I am new to WordPress and have inherited a pretty complex
   site.
