 * im having trouble with the side bar on my page. it is showing up permanently 
   fixed to the home screen and when i press on the plus symbol it just shows a 
   blank page

 * I’m not sure why your sidebar is visible by default.

 * You can temporarily deactivate plugins and see if it helps.
