Every single time I’m editing the page with your included sidebars, I have to add them by new. Is there a chance to save them permanently so I don’t have to use the OTW Grid Manager Light box in the editor all the time?
Also: As soon as I deactivate the plugin/all plugins, the widgets in the sidebars have to be added by new. Okay: They are saved as widgets in “unused sidebars”, but it’s a regular drag and drop routine like in the case mentioned above which is quite annoying.
The sidebars placed in the editor or in the OTW Grid Manager metabox will remain there after your page is being saved. Check if this happens with other contents and other shortcodes too. It might be some theme issue with shortcodes.
When the plugin gets deactivated all sidebars created with the plugin will not exist. So widgets from that sidebars will go inactive. Once the plugin is activated again the widgets will return to their original sidebars. This is how WordPress manages sidebars and widgets.
Hm, I was offline for a week and didn’t change anything, but it looks like I can save the page now without losing my settings in the OTW Grid Manager Light metabox. Well, great. 🙂
