# Sidebar gone mad!

 * Hi there,
 * I created a basic theme from a static html site and all was fine until I started
   tweaking the index.php. Now my sidebar has gone mad! I haven’t touched the css
   so know that the padding and entry widths should be correct.
 * If the <?php get_sidebar(); ?> is placed at the beginning of the div all its 
   styling disappears and it floats left above the posts. If the <?php get_sidebar();?
   > is placed at the end of the div the sidebar sits below the posts.
 * I know I had this working correctly this morning – can anyone see what stupid
   mistake I have made cos after an hour of head-scratching I can’t see a thing!!

   Then move onto the [CSS errors](http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?profile=css3&warning=0&uri=http%3A%2F%2Famy-englishteacher.com%2Fwp%2F).
