 * Hi, I updated my wordpress and Spacious theme to the current versions and found
   out that my sidebar is not properly styled again.
    Instead of floating to the
   right, it stays to the left under the main content on the page rather than stay
   on the right of the content on all pages.
 * What can I do to fix this please?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fsidebar-error-14%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi,
 * For floating the sidebar to the right, you can go to the **Appearance > Customize
   > Design > Default layout for single pages only** and select the first option.
   For archive and single post page also you can choose the right sidebar under
   the Default layout option.
    Also, the issue might be arising due to smaller wrapper
   width than the content and sidebar. For changing the width of the container,
   can you go to the **Appearance > Customize > Design > Site Layout** and choose
   the layout having a bigger width and check?
 * Thanks.

 * Hello Rajesh,
 * I have done as highlighted above yet it’s still the same.
    I have a slider on
   the homepage that does not display (if it does load, it takes a VERY long time
   to do so). The contents of the right sidebar are still on the left and their
   sizes are all irregular.
 * I noticed that another page on the website also doesn’t load the elements of
   my Visual Composer masonry media grid. ([https://www.eie.ng/infograph-page](https://www.eie.ng/infograph-page)).
 * Kindly assist review.
 * Thank you.

 * Hi,
 * It seems you are not using the default sidebar of the theme and using the third-
   party plugins for page building. While inspecting your sites, there were many
   js errors. So, the issue might be arising from the plugins used. Can you once
   try disabling the used plugins one by one and check if the issue is resolved?

   Also, can you try editing the page having the issue & publish it and check if
   that fixes the issue? You can also ask in the plugin forum that you are using
   for page building for a better solution.
 * Thanks.

 * Hello Rajesh.
 * The main page having the issue is my homepage which is based on the Spacious
   theme home.php file. The sidebar is the default from the widgets menu of the
   theme, not a third-party plugin.
 * Kindly review again and revert because everything was working well before I updated
   to the current WordPress and Spacious versions.
 * Thank you.

 * Hi,
 * While checking out your site, it seems that the single page created in your site
   have different divs than provided via the theme. And maybe you have edited the
   theme code on your own to make the design as you needed and you updated the theme
   and the changes done within the theme got wiped out. So, please prefer child
   theme on doing the customization work within your site. And for now, maybe your
   hosting company have your site backup so, maybe ask them to up the site to the
   date on which everything was fine and then do the customization work via the
   child theme?
 * Thanks.
