    Hi Joachim Jensen,

Thanks for all the great work you have done with this plugin.

I got the plugin to work with my blog pages the way I want it and I also could assign a specific sidebar to topics within the forums but for whatever reason the sidebars for the forums themselves do not replace the standard sidebar.

I have selected the specific forum and the corresponding topic-tag from the forums and saved them to the group as usual. On the blog pages this setup works great.

    Thanks,

    Jakob

PS. By the way, the plugin is incompatible with bbPress WP Tweak, if you don’t know that already. Had a hard time to figure that out.

My budget I very tight right now, that’s why I haven’t donated yet, but what I can offer is to make a little How-to-use Content aware sidebars video free of charge for you that you can use if you want. Let me know if you are interested.

Thank you for your kind words.

Are the settings you refer to, the exact settings for your sidebar, or do you have more conditions the sidebar should be displayed under? I.e. in the condition group, you only have a specific forum and a specific topic-tag?

I was not aware that the plugin was incompatible with bbPress WP Tweaks, can you tell me more about how/when this incompatibility shows up?

Such a video you talk about would be awesome! Please contact me at jv [at] intox.dk so that we can discuss this in more detail.

Yes, for example I have the Forum Biology and the topic-tag Biology both selected and that’s it. Than I have selected to replace the standard in my case the right sidebar, merge above and choose a rank in my case -1 so that I can overwrite it if necessary.
    And that’s it.

The same setup workes well with the blog pages but I still get the right sidebar (standard) in my forum and now I’m at the end of my wits.

That’s why I ask you because I don’t know what else to try.

    Concerning the plugin incompatibility:
I had the bbPress WP Tweak installed first, just to have an extra sidebar until I got ambitious. Well, I only got your plugin to work after I de-installed bbPress WP Tweak. Deactivation of the plugin didn’t change anything.

I’m a total novice so I have no understanding on the inner workings of the plugins. If they use similar modules or use similar functions, why they don’t work. I have no idea.

That is all that I can tell you.

Thanks for the quick response. I’ll mail you concerning the videos.

    All the best,

    Jakob

I have tried to reproduce the problems you are having, but I have not yet found any issues. Can you create an admin user for my email, then I will gladly take a look at it?
