# Sidebar does not display

 * Hello –
    I have followed the (rather simple) instructions carefully: –created
   a sidebar using Sidebar Manager –selected some pages to which the custom sidebar
   should apply –placed a custom-menu widget in the sidebar, The sidebar/widget 
   does not display.
 * Are there settings I should look for that might be interfering?
    The theme I 
   use normally has an automatically-generated menu in the sidebar place Iin which
   I am trying to use the custom sidebar. Might that present an issue? Thanks Jim
