   to the “content” of your site?

 * I’ve just started using Sidebar Widgets ( [http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugins/WordPress_Widgets](http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugins/WordPress_Widgets)).
   I had to update my theme, but it was well worth it, and not terribly difficult.
 * That page lists several widgets to get started with.
 * Perhaps my favorite is a very simple one, ExecPHP (available on the Widget page,
   or at [http://www.ottodestruct.com](http://www.ottodestruct.com) ). It’s just
   like the basic Text Widget, only it lets you execute PHP code within it. This
   is great for converting your own custom sidebar junk into a widget, instantly.

   It holds the fading image slideshow, which is powered by Flashfader ( [http://www.lynk.de/wordpress/flashfader/](http://www.lynk.de/wordpress/flashfader/)).
