Support » Fixing WordPress » Sidebar and Content Alignment

  • On my site, (TwentyEleven child theme), I have several pages that use the sidebar page template. I have everything lined up the way I want it, except that the bottom of the sidebar does not line up with the bottom of the content to the right of it. I know that it’s like that because there is only one widget in the sidebar, so it’s just ending at the end of the widget, but I am wondering if there is a way to stretch the sidebar so that the bottom of it lines up with the content on the right? I was able to adjust it using margins, but since the content is a different length on each page, the sidebar only lines up on that one page.

Can anyone help with this? Thanks!

Remove the float on it and its containing aside element, then add a 100% height to the sidebar.

Thanks…I removed the float on the sidebar and adjusted the height to 100%, but I’m not quite sure what its aside element is (sorry, I don’t have much experience with this). I tried removing the float from the #left.sidebar primary, but it just moved the sidebar under it.
