 * Our (static) website was set up with only one column and the sidebar was ‘removed’.
   Now I’m taking care of the website and I’d like to get the sidebar back with 
   the pages listed as navigation pane. How do I get the sidebar back? And how do
   I display the pages navigation in the sidebar?
    Another thing I struggle with:
   Can I get a drop-down plugin for my navigation menu?

 * There are dropdown plugins out there but you could create a CSS [custom menu](http://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Menus_SubPanel)
   such as the one that Twenty Eleven uses..
