 * I have set up my website using the twenty ten theme
    harjminhas.com
 * However i am having difficulty in adding content to the sidebar
 * I want to add my own pictures with links coming from them and possibly videos.
 * Can you let me know where i can get the information to be able to do this

 * Can you cut and paste pictures with links as you can do on the pages or is it
   just HTML here?

 * You have to use HTML in the Text widget – for images, links & videos.

 * I wondered if you could change the sidebar background colour to say a light grey?

 * It is possible but your customisations will be over-written the next time you
   upgrade WordPress or the theme. For this reason, it is recommended that you consider
   creating a [child theme](http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes) for your customisations.
