Side Menu Plugin that removes list-type

Is there a plugin or a way to generate a menu based on child, but that does not generate the ul and li ?

I would like to have a simple vertical bar based menu with only childs in the menu of that page, the issue is every time the ul and li items using CSS.

Would be nice to see some fix for this.
