[Resolved] Side by side floated div layout goes vertical if one div too long

  • I was able to have two divs floating side by side successfully, but that’s only if the left div(blog posts) doesn’t have multiple posts listed. The right div is a sidebar.

    Anyone know how to deal with an issue where if the left div is too long the right falls beneath it instead of staying beside it?

    This is basically the blog page setup and I pasted the important aspects of the css.
    .post {float:left; width:500px;}
    #sidebar {float:right; width:295px;}

    <section id=”main”>
    <div class=”post”>”The Loop” blog posts</div>
    <div id=”sidebar”>Call Sidebar</div>
    </section>

    What theme are you using?
