Posting articles to the blog is causing the side bar on the main page to disappear, although if you click the link to the article (the article heading), this page contains the side bar.
For some articles, removing the embed code within the article will solve the issue, but for others it does not. We currently have one article that contains an inserted chart and we cannot post it or the same problem occurs.
On Friday, June 6th, the article “ECB complexity” was posted and it caused the previous days postings to all disappear. This was resolved by removing the embed code from within the article.
Presently we have three or four articles that we cannot post with out the right side bar disappearing.
I’ve just spent all morning playing with the blog to see if I could find
the issue. I deactivated each plugin, with no success, and then I moved
each widget in the sidebar to the inactive list, no success with this either. What I did discover is that the sidebar is only disappearing on the home page, but remains fully in tact on all the other pages. If I click any link while on the home page, it takes me to a new page with an intact sidebar, but the Home page has no side bar. The side bar will come back in the home page if we remove certain posts or embed codes, but it only disappears on the home page.
