Shows Ads and Needs Pro Version!
-
1. Shows ads.
2. Shows developers real face in my admin dashboard 😐
3. The core basic functionality (connection to KaveNegar SMS service provider) is locked behind Pro version. Almost all SMS gateways are locked behind a paywall.
4. “Enable usage tracking” option checked by default (without users knowladge).-

- Almost every plugin shows ads. This is very normal.
- You can disable it in the settings. It only appears to help you with setup.
- The basic functionality is included with Firebase. Iranian SMS gateways are not part of the core. They don’t even support us on their own websites (Kavenegar, SMS.ir, FarazSMS, Mellipayamak, etc.) and ignore our requests to link back to our plugin.
It is unfortunate that many users in Iran prefer to download nulled/cracked plugins from random websites without supporting the real developers. And then the same users leave negative reviews without even knowing the situation.

Normal? Debatable.
@glboy This is important: What kind of ads? Are you loading the ads from another site or ad provider or is it part of the plugin code and (important) not dynamic?
Do I need to look at the plugin code?

Yeah, that’s… disturbing. 😑 But as far as I know not any violation.
Dear Moderator,
Thank you for your feedback. Let me clarify:
- The plugin only has two static, hardcoded notices inside the code. One is about the Pro version (as the reviewer already mentioned), and the other is about web design services. Both are placed in the sidebar and are not intrusive. They are not loaded dynamically from any external ad provider.
- Regarding the “face” mentioned: this is actually an online chat widget inside the plugin settings page, meant for quick support. It is small, floating in the corner (bottom left/right), and I have provided an option to disable it completely if the user does not want it.
I assure you I have not violated any WordPress rules. If I had, I believe the plugin would have already been closed. However, if you see anything that is against the guidelines, I will absolutely follow your advice and make any necessary changes immediately.
Also, this plugin is completely free. Users can use the documentation and set up their own SMS gateway using their preferred custom provider without any obligation to upgrade.
Thank you again for your guidance.

This is good. Thank you.

Not so much. Here’s the problem, by defaulting that to “On” you are establishing a connection to that chat service from a person’s WordPress installation.
Email the plugins team and ask them but that should default to “disabled”.

It’s a negative point. No one likes or wants ads.

It’s a chat feature built with crisp. It’s not some sorf of a interactive guide system.

Why should they support you on their webiste! That makes no sense.
There is nothing special about these SMS providers to be any different from others. They provide an API same as others.

This was a genuine review. I looked into so many SMS plugins, there was no good solutions, even with that fact, I still choose to not use your plugin.

Hi, I saw you joining the conversation. Though this may be something you be interested in. Added this new part in my review. I’m not sure how it goes with the guidelines.
