Showing zero traffic when using gtag.js | WordPress.org

Our websites stopped recording any and all traffic the moment we switched from analytics.js to gtag.js. In the dashboard, ALL General Statistics are zero.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get it to work with gtag.js?
