# showing the post per page function

 * this function doesn´t work anymore on my blog. i don´t know why and since when.
 * eralier it was possible to setup those posts per page and i tried alot until 
   i came to the point that a 6 post per page is the optimum number for my posts
   and design.
 * now i can see actually 4 posts. cant change the numbers up or even down, everything
   i try it doesnt take an effect.
 * in my adminmenu is currently ” 6 post per page” as current setting. if i change
   day post per page to the “post per day” it works perfect….but not how i imagined
   that.
 * the question to you is, pls explain me or the best, show me where this settings
   may get changed to take my wished effect and my wordpress complete working.
 * i´m using wordpress 1.5 with permalinks adn i´ve testet all themes i have up
   and switched of all plugins…..didn´t made an effect. still shown 4 posts
 * your help is needed, thx for answering and reading

 * In another thread you mentioned you are using a “paginated” plugin. Doesn’t that
   affect how many posts are displayed? I mean isn’t there something where you set
   the # of posts displayed? Just a thought…

 * there i setup that 10 posts should shown. but:
 * when i deactivate this plugin, save the “clear” index.php file on my ftp its 
   still the same. with or without this plugin, activatet or not…..it still shows
   me 4 posts, not more
