How can I show on the first, let’s say, 250 words of a post ont he index page, and the full post in its own page? I want to be able to define for a post if it should be displayed this way, or just displayed the normal fashion (the entire post on the index page). Also when displaying on the first X words I want it to have at the end of the post a “…[more]” link that will link to the full post.

    Is it possible?

    Thanks.

  • Yup – when you are writing, look at the row of small boxes on top of the editing area. Click the one with ‘more’ on it where you want this to happen.
Having that tag on it’s own line is best.

    it seems so obvious 😉

    thanks.
