Showing Nivo slider [Absolum Theme]

    Hi, I am using the free theme: Absolum…
    If I select the option to show Nivo slider on all pages, then it shows.

    however, If I select the option: “only show on home page”, then Nivo slider does not show on my home page.

    I have adjusted the “reading”settings to allow the front page to be a static page, namely my “home Page”

    what could be the problem?
