 * Hello, I’ve been working with the free version to determine if it’s worth upgrading
   to the premium.
    I’m running into a very annoying issue, I have posts visible
   in my grid which are already expired.
 * They’re all posts generated by the “Events Manager” plugin, which works fine
   with Post Grid, except for this one issue.
 * You can see it live on my site [http://blevley.zwankhuizen.com/](http://blevley.zwankhuizen.com/)

   If you click on “Events listed by date” you’ll see an overview of all events
   sorted by date, I would expect these events to show up on the Grid.
 * In the setting I’ve selected Post type=event, Post status=publish and sorted
   by date.
    If I check Post Status=Future nothing shows up. This all makes sense
   since the post status is still “publish”, however it look like Post Grid does
   not check if the date has already expired?
 * Maybe I’m overlooking a setting somewhere?
 * Thanks for the great effort.

 * Another thing I just noticed is that it looks like the sorting on date looks
   at the published date, not the date of the event? This makes it actually quite
   useless if that is the case, at least for me.

 * Hi,
 * Thanks for nice post, In premium version there is “Meta query”
    I just tested
   with “Events Manager” plugin i can see meta query working fine, but issue only
   need to do “Value” should be dynamic as today date (i have tested with static
   date 2016-09-22 ) Please see the screenshot

 * Also if you want sort by event data please see there is option “Post query orderby”
   you need to select meta value and put meta key.
    please see the screenshot.

 * Hi, good news!! i have solved the issue
 * I have update the plugin to support shortcode in value input for meta query ,
   i have created a new shortcode `[post_grid_today_date]` which will return current
   date (2016-09-22) that will use for meta key value.
 * Please see the screenshots.

 * Hi, sorry about the delay, a few things came up and I could only recently continue
   work on this.
    I tried the orderby solution in the free version, but that only
   causes an “no posts found” error message. Maybe I need to invest in the premium
   version, it seems to do what I’m looking for.
 * Regards.

 * Hello, I would really like to use this functionality and would purchase the premium
   version if that works.
    Is there a time-limited premium version so I can make
   sure everything works as I would like it to?
 * Regards,
    Ray.
