    >are you working on the display for those hours?

    not really.
there are so many permutations of how this could be set and displayed, that it’s a lot easier to just write a line of text where you want to display your opening hours

can we make the hours display a text box for the widget then or have it show the hours itself.

ie have it show like it does now or have a checkbox on the widget controls that let you specify what you want it to say with text instead.

in theory, sure, but how is that any different from writing the opening hours as and where you want it ?

Is the cart showing “store closed” if you have closed hours in the middle of the day currently?

    yes

well, the last time i checked it did. haven’t tested it since but there’s no reason why it should not still do so as nothing has changed on that front for months.

obviously, if it does NOT do that, then let me know and I’ll double check…

as it says on the wppizza opening times admin page in red:

Note: if you set anything here, it will not be reflected when displaying openingtimes via shortcode or in the widget, so you might want to display your openingtimes manually somewhere. It DOES, however close the shoppingcart, the ability to order etc as required)

aye I remember reading that, I’m testing if it says shop closed while the mid day closure is in effect. I do know that it does close the store but can’t remember if it said so or not.
