Showing broken links inside comments

As an example, it reports the following as a broken link even though I have temporarily put it inside a comment because I know it doesn’t work yet.

< Coventry Basin–></td>It reports “https://www.waterwayroutes.co.uk/blog/photos-cov-00000#scroll” as broken.
It should not report links within comments as broken, and it should not waste resources checking links within comments.
