• I have a wordpress.com blog, I did a <!–more–> tag and it cut as it should. Say I want to put something that will show on the main page is there a way to do this?
For example, I do a post about car races, and I post 5 race pics. I clip the pics out and after I want to say who won…but I want to have this blurb on the front page

  • You can either post again about the winners, getting you more coverage, and include a link to the previous post with the background information, or simply change or move the <!–more–> tag to a new position in your post.

Or you can add an UPDATED section to the post with the new information, putting it within the new excerpt area. It’s up to you. As you can see, there are a lot of choices. I vote for the first one. Make a new post and link to the old.
